Interior Layout

From bow — forepeak/anchor/sail locker with screened louvered teak doors, V-berth w/ cushions and stowage under, P&S seats w/cushions and small outboard lockers, galley cabinet w/stainless sink and hand pump to starboard, chart table w/stowage under to port. A small removable table affixes to underside of foredeck and deploys on a removable stainless steel base. There is no head aboard Pudding, but the space below the chart table allows for one to be plumbed in.

Hull and Deck Construction

• Hull construction is inner and outer veneers vacuum-bagged over a cedar strip core. Gilded recessed cove stripe at sheer.
• Deck is marine plywood with solid teak overlay. A varnished solid teak toe rail runs along the hull/deck joint.
• Cabin sides, coaming, and companionway scuttle are solid teak in varnish.
• Cabin top is marine plywood covered in ‘glass/epoxy with painted smooth and non-skid finish.

Deck Layout, Hardware and Equipment

• Foredeck is wide open with only a pair of open stainless chocks, a stainless mooring cleat, and a stainless scoop vent providing ventilation to the forepeak. Scoop vent opening can be closed off with stainless steel cover
• Side decks are clear except for black anodized Harken jib car track and cars.
• Cabin top is equipped with a pair of Harken self-tailing winches outboard of the partners with turning blocks as needed to feed into organizers along port side. Another pair of Harken self-tailers at the aft end of the house top handles halyards as needed.
• P&S cockpit coamings have another pair of Harken self-tailing winches on solid teak islands for jib and spinnaker sheeting.
• Aft deck is equipped with Harken multi-part main sheet tackle on traveler, a pair of turning blocks for spinnaker sheets, a stainless burgee staff socket, and a pair of closed stainless chocks at each corner.

Cockpit Layout and Features

Full length solid teak bench tops contrast nicely against the varnished coamings and white painted panel work. Port side bench is split into two opening panels. Forward is stowage, aft is insulated for food/beverage storage and drains to foot well. Starboard side is the same layout, but the aft opening provides access to the back of the Westerbeke instrument panel and single-lever Lewmar shift/throttle control with small item stowage outboard. There are also two elliptical stowage cubbies at the forward end of each side of the cockpit for winch handles/sail stops/sun block/etc. Cockpit sole in raw teak drains forward to the point where the raised engine access hatch runs across the foot well. The aft bulkhead is open providing access to under-deck stowage and tiller attachment.

Spars and Rigging

• ¾ sloop rig.
• Carbon spars painted buff with two pairs of aluminum spreaders
• Harken roller furling jib system (rebuilt 2025)
• 1x19 stainless wire shrouds and stays swaged to stainless turnbuckles terminating at stainless inboard chainplates
• Tubular aluminum QuickVang with multi-part tackle
• All running rigging is double braided line, sized and color coded as appropriate.

Sail Trim and Handling Equipment

• All sailing hardware is modern Harken gear
• One pair of self-tailing winches outboard of partners, one pair at aft end of house top, and one pair on coamings for sheets
• Turning blocks at partners and organizers on house top get all lines neatly routed to the cockpit
• Jib car tracks run on deck for the length of the house with a single car on each side
• Stand-up turning blocks at the aft ends of the coamings for spinnaker sheets
• Boom-end main sheeting with multi-part Harken sheeting tackle on Harken traveler at aft end of cockpit

Sails and Canvas

• 8-breaker distribution panel with dedicated circuits for: Instruments, Running Lights, Anchor Light, Cabin Lights, Steaming Light, Autopilot, and Bilge Pump. One unused circuit remains for additional equipment.

Fresh Water Plumbing and Sanitation

• 20-gallon aluminum freshwater tank with stainless deck fill fitting
• Hand pump at galley sink

Ground Tackle Equipment

• Danforth anchor in forepeak with 3-strand rode and 10’ of galvanized chain
