Featured A 2001 Landing School LS-26 (hull #14) — a cold-molded cedar/epoxy weekender sloop designed in-house by instructor Ken Rusinek. Traditional bright-finished mahogany above a modern underbody, with the Landing School's high build quality. Fractional rig with furling jib and spinnaker, and a well-maintained Westerbeke diesel.
Featured A 1961 ketch-rigged Herreshoff H-28 — L. Francis Herreshoff's timeless, easily handled family cruiser — built on Lake Erie by Albert Sprock and lovingly upgraded, with 2025 deck and cabin restoration, new North Sails, and quiet Electric Yacht auxiliary propulsion.
Featured Hull #37 of the 83 Pacific Class 32s built by Kettenburg Boat Works — a 1947 mahogany-on-oak sloop designed by George Kettenburg Jr. for San Diego one-design racing. Comprehensively restored in 2002 (≈90% of framing replaced) with ongoing care since. A fast, elegant West Coast classic now in Maine.
Featured A 2017 Harry Bryan 'Katie' — a 20' gaff-rigged keel/centerboard pocket cruiser inspired by Herreshoff's Buzzards Bay 12½. Recently refreshed at Hylan & Brown with new standing rigging, fresh paint and varnish, Oceanus sails by Nat Wilson, and custom canvas berths. A nicely balanced, easily handled daysailer with two small berths.
Featured A 2025 Paul Gartside cold-molded 17' launch, silently powered by a 48-volt E-Yacht electric motor. Dry-sailed since new and trailered home to charge between outings — perfect for morning birdwatching, lazy lunches in quiet coves, or a sunset harbor cruise. Offered well below her recent cost to build.
Featured Hull #3 of Joel White's Center Harbor 31, built at Brooklin Boat Yard in 1997. A cold-molded wood/epoxy fractional sloop with carbon spars, all-Harken gear, and a beautifully simple varnished-teak cockpit and interior. A pure, elegant daysailer and weekender.
Featured A 1989 Sabre 34 Targa / Aft-Cabin — the pinnacle of Sabre's 34 evolution, with a private aft cabin, sit-down nav station, and a well-lit two-cabin interior. Two owners from new, meticulously maintained and always stored indoors. Westerbeke diesel, full electronics, and extensive canvas.
Featured The last of the Frank Loud Cutters — built by the designer as his own family yacht. Traditionally constructed of mahogany carvel over white oak, recently strip-refastened and refinished from the waterline to the rabbet, with all-new standing rigging. A wholesome, uncomplicated wooden family cruiser.
