Nasket — Joel White / Brooklin Boat Yard Ketch

Nasket was custom built by Brooklin Boat Yard in 1971 to a design by Sam Crocker that was “tweaked” by Joel White to result in a boat slightly enlarged from the original 1945 Crocker drawings. Her construction when built was first quality and her subsequent owners have maintained this level of quality in all the work they have done. Nasket is a handsome ketch that has proven to be very easy to handle and has an excellent turn of speed. Her interior is spacious with a rather open traditional layout with Concordia style berths in the main saloon and Vee-berths forward.

Following in the footsteps of previous owners Nasket’s current stewards have been diligent in their care and maintenance of this Grand Dame of Center Harbor taking on large projects such as complete repainting of decks, cabins and cockpit, making significant upgrades of her equipment list with new working sails and new sheet winches and much more (see Recent Work list below).

Comfortable below and pleasing to the eye above Nasket improves the view of any harbor she graces. Come to Center Harbor here in Brooklin, Maine and see for yourself.
