Rip Snorter — Custom Lobster/Picnic Boat

Former BBY President Steve White acquired an unfinished hull from D&L Boat Works in 2023. Throughout 2023-2024, Brooklin Boat Yard completed the vessel with an 8-cylinder gas engine and designed and built a new pilot house. Won first place in the Gasoline Class B division at the July 2024 Stonington Races.

Construction

Cold-molded wood-epoxy construction. Three-layer mahogany marine plywood hull with E-Glass exterior skin. Fir longitudinal stringers and plywood frames. AwlGrip Whisper Gray topsides with International Orange accents.
